4th Annual Racing for a Cause
Start your engines! The Center for Disability Services announces “Racing for a Cause” for those who love sport cars, vintage automobiles, and have a passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The unique fund-raising event takes place Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Joliet’s Autobahn Country Club and Race Track, 3795 CenterPoint Way, Joliet.A pace car-led sprint offers guests a rare opportunity to drive around the autobahn-styled track in the opposite direction, an exclusive feature to this event. Following the sprint, a private farm-to-table gourmet supper, sponsored by Warehouse Services Inc., will be served on the actual track, a menu especially created for “Racing for a Cause” by the talented executive chef of the Autobahn Country Club. After supper, guests are given special access to Jim and Debbie Keck’s three story "Garage Mahal"; A museum of vintage cars and memorabilia during the After Party.
